This classic machine was restored by the late renowned restoration expert Pete Bollenbach. Bollenbach had a reputation for being one of the top Indian experts and he worked out of his Barrington, IL shop.
Bollenbach’s personal tour bike, this machine was restored at the highest standard possible using only new-old stock components and it’s said Bollenbach had 400 hours of his time invested in the restoration.
One of the 21,000 original Twins manufactured, this bike represents one of the finest surviving examples and features kick-start and a 2-speed transmission.
The 1915 Indian Big Twin was the pinnacle of Indian early development of F-Head engines. With its dual suspension, these models are considered the last “real” Indians to be built at the legendary Springfield factory.
